The Problem

Nick had strong credibility through his work, network and podcast. As an exited founder with access to an exceptional range of entrepreneurs, authors, marketers and business thinkers, he created World's Greatest Business Thinkers for people seeking practical insight into success in business.

He was already having valuable conversations with influential guests. The challenge was that much of what emerged from those discussions remained confined to the podcast itself. After an episode was published, many of the strongest ideas quickly faded from view.

As a result, the broader commercial potential of that content was never fully realised.

Nick needed a way to turn those conversations into a broader authority engine. One that could build visibility between episodes, grow his audience with the right people, and strengthen his position in the podcast and business space.

The opportunity was to make every conversation work harder as thought leadership and strengthen partner visibility to create sponsorship opportunities.

C2A: Triangle is proud to sponsor World’s Greatest Business Thinkers with Nick Hague - watch his latest episodes here.

Our Solution

Triangle built a LinkedIn ecosystem around Nick’s expertise, podcast conversations and unique point of view.

We started with strategic positioning. The goal was to clarify what Nick should be known for, who the content needed to reach, and which ideas would create authority with founders, senior marketers and business decision-makers.

From there, we applied the Triangle Market Authority Matrix™ to leverage Nick’s expertise, authority and where this will turn to growth.

‍

‍

We then built the content through Triangle’s Content Stack™, using Strategic Ideation Sessions™ to draw out different content types that layered Nick’s own perspective with the insights of his guests into a full-funnel authority system.

  • Authority content showcased Nick’s insight and podcast-led learning.
  • Trust content brought out his values, judgment and personal perspective.
  • Credibility content used specific examples, guests and ideas to show depth.
  • Insight-based content reframed how his audience thought about business, marketing and media.
  • Scenario-based content made the work feel relevant to the moments his audience was already experiencing.

‍

This created a repeatable system for extracting far more value from every conversation.

The podcast supplied the raw material, but the impact came from what happened next. Interviews were turned into commentary, observations into thought leadership, and individual episodes into assets that continued building credibility long after publication.

The Results

Over 9 months, Nick’s LinkedIn ecosystem generated 513,296 impressions and 10,355 engagements, with engagement up 527% compared with the previous period.

His audience grew to 22,878 followers, with strong relevance across the people Triangle wanted the content to reach. 32% percent of the audience were senior professionals. Founders, CEOs, managing directors, marketing directors, CMOs and heads of marketing appeared throughout the follower base.

The content also reached the right industries and locations, including advertising services, business consulting, marketing services, technology and internet, with a strong concentration in London, New York, Manchester, San Francisco and Sydney.

Podcast-led posts featuring Rory Sutherland, Byron Sharp, and Jenni Romaniuk generated some of the strongest engagement, showing that Nick’s audience responded to high-quality thinking when it was packaged with clarity and distributed consistently.

‍

The Results

Nick now has a repeatable way to turn conversations into authority, authority into audience growth, and audience growth into stronger relationships across the podcast, marketing and business communities.

By creating a system around the content, Triangle ensured the value of each episode extended far beyond its release.

Every conversation became an opportunity to shape opinion, demonstrate expertise and build lasting authority.

Triangle’s partnership with Nick Hague has since expanded beyond LinkedIn strategy and content. In May 2026, Triangle became an official sponsor of the World’s Greatest Business Thinkers Podcast, supporting the next stage of Nick’s growth across podcast, social and audience channels.
