Privacy Policy
Who We Are
Triangle is the trading name of Matt Swain Ltd. We are the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@triangle-branding.com.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when you contact us, submit a form or subscribe to our newsletter, including your name, email address, company, role and correspondence.
We also collect technical and browsing information, including IP addresses, browser and device details, online identifiers, pages visited, referral sources and visit times.
Visitor Identification: Snitcher and RB2B
We use the following services to understand which businesses are interested in Triangle and identify relevant opportunities to contact them:
- Snitcher: Processes IP addresses and website activity to identify visiting companies and show their engagement with our website. Its standard identification service provides company-level information rather than identifying the individual visitor. See Snitcher’s Privacy Policy.
- RB2B: Uses cookies and similar technologies to match website activity with information held by its data partners, potentially including names, business email addresses, employers, job titles and professional profile links. Individual identification is limited to visitors located in the United States. For visitors elsewhere, including the UK and EU, its international identification service operates at company level where enabled. See RB2B’s Privacy Policy.
We may combine these results with relevant business information from public company websites and professional profiles to assess interest in our services and identify appropriate business contacts. Identifying a company does not establish which employee visited our website.
How And Why We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and discuss our services, relying on our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective clients.
- Deliver services and manage relationships, relying on contractual necessity where you personally enter into the contract, or our legitimate interests in managing business relationships.
- Operate and secure our website, relying on our legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable service.
- Analyse website use and identify visitors through optional tracking, relying on consent where required.
- Research and contact relevant business prospects where legally permitted, relying on our legitimate interest in developing our business after assessing the impact on individuals, or consent where required.
- Send newsletters you request, relying on your consent.
- Meet applicable legal obligations.
Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without sufficient contact details.
Cookies and Visitor Tracking
We use essential technologies needed to operate our website. We obtain consent before activating optional visitor-identification or marketing cookies and similar technologies that require it.
You can accept, reject or withdraw consent through the cookie link. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent you from browsing our website.
Business Outreach and Your Choices
Where legally permitted, we may contact you about Triangle’s services using relevant business contact information. A website visit does not itself constitute consent to receive marketing.
Where consent is required for the recipient or communication channel, we obtain it before sending marketing.
If we obtain your information from another source, we explain the source and provide this privacy information within one month, or at our first communication or disclosure if earlier.
You can object to direct marketing at any time. Use the unsubscribe option, reply to our message or email hello@triangle-branding.com. We will stop using your information for direct marketing, including related profiling.
You can also use RB2B’s database opt-out and RB2B’s GDPR opt-out. These provider controls are additional to your right to contact us directly.
Who Receives Information
We share information where necessary with providers supporting our website hosting, visitor identification, analytics, customer relationship management and email communications, including Snitcher and RB2B.
RB2B acts as an independent controller for certain identification data. Its privacy policy describes how it may combine information with other sources, develop its services and share information with data partners and customers.
We may also share information with professional advisers and authorities where necessary or legally required.
International Transfers
Our providers may process personal information outside the UK. Snitcher states that its visitor data is processed and stored in Germany. RB2B states that its service is hosted in the United States.
Contact hello@triangle-branding.com for information about these arrangements or a copy of applicable safeguards.
How Long We Keep Information
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Website activity and visitor-identification records: up to 12 months from collection.
- Prospect and enquiry records: up to 24 months after our last meaningful interaction, unless an ongoing business relationship justifies continued retention.
- Newsletter subscription records: while you remain subscribed, subject to periodic reviews of inactive subscriptions.
If you become a client, relevant information is retained for the duration of the relationship and afterwards where necessary for legal, accounting or contractual purposes.
We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed. We retain a limited suppression record for as long as necessary to honour marketing objections.
These periods describe information held by Triangle. Where a provider acts as an independent controller, its own retention practices are explained in its privacy policy.
Your Rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests.
You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
We do not make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
To exercise your rights or raise a complaint, contact hello@triangle-branding.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change and bring material changes to your attention where required.
